Causes of Dizziness and Vertigo 

Dizziness and vertigo can be associated with a variety of conditions such as: 

•Viral or bacterial infections of the middle or inner ear 
•Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) 
•Weak function of one or both of the balance systems in the inner ear 
•Blood pressure changes 
•Vascular problems  
•A fistula (hole) in the inner ear 
•Ménière’s disease 
•Multiple sclerosis 
•Visual disorders 
•Head Injury
